I paint to capture those gentle moments, those fleeting instances in everyday life that make you smile and put your heart at ease.
About the artwork:
I have loved dogs since I was a child.
My family had a Maltese named "Cliff," who would greet me with boundless joy every time I came home. Because of this, I always thought I would get a dog when I grew up.
However, when I became an adult, a rescued cat came into our home instead.
This cat had been a stray for almost a year, and it would run away indoors, always on guard, making it impossible to even touch it.
This went on for nearly three years, but now it's so attached it rubs against my feet.
I depicted the bond of trust that was gradually built over time.
