I enjoy painting humorous scenes, drawing inspiration from my own daily life and the emotions I experience at the time.
I often reflect on the joy of connecting with others, as well as how we love and how we play—and the differences and commonalities found within those experiences. I paint because I want to celebrate each of these moments and hope that people will spend a little more time dwelling in them.
Oil painting is inherently a slow, time-consuming process. It reminds me to pause and recall that life has its own pace. I am grateful that this medium reminds me of this every single day.
