I create my work based on information received from sounds and sensations.
It is only natural that everyone's sensitivity to these things is different, but I have sometimes felt a sense of discomfort in how they seem to be homogenized.
I believe that because direct sharing is difficult, understanding or empathizing with others—and receiving that in return—is a challenging aspect of life.
By turning these unshareable matters into paintings,
I am exploring ways of expression with the hope that, through my work, I can offer a little comfort to the quiet loneliness and sadness that people keep to themselves.
