Touching the Boundaries – Truth in Ambiguity
In my artistic practice, I constantly explore "touching the boundaries."
This might involve, for example, revealing the subtle gradations hidden within the seemingly innocent color "white."
Or finding "movement within stillness," as an apple slowly oxidizes and transforms itself.
Or the "abundance" brought by water flowing through a pipe, and the "depletion" that appears when it is lost.
The ambiguity of the moment when seemingly opposing phenomena merge in between.
It is in this realm, where there are no definitive answers, that I feel an indescribable beauty and the essence of life.
I hope that through the works in this exhibition, you will have an opportunity to touch the gentle fluctuations of the world that lie beneath the surface of everyday life.
