In my studio

Size: 225×315mm
Materials and Techniques: Ink, Japanese watercolor, paper
Year of Production: 2026
Artist Profile:
Since 2010, I have explored various forms of expression, including accessory design and public art projects for local communities.
The Kumamoto Earthquake in 2016 became a turning point in my life, profoundly changing my values when I established a studio on a small island surrounded by the Shiranui Sea.
Since 2021, drawn to Eastern philosophies that emphasize living in harmony with nature and to traditional Japanese painting materials made from natural ingredients, I have been studying ink painting.
Currently, I create ink wash paintings and Nihonga (Japanese-style paintings). Based on a tranquil island, my creative practice reflects a life lived in harmony with the rhythms of nature.
