What I love is the time I spend layering colors with Gansai (Japanese watercolors), guided by the lines of sumi ink and a glass pen.
This enjoyment naturally brings out the vivid forms of birds, cats, and squirrels.
With a background in techniques cultivated through Japanese painting and restoration work, I currently create in Shiga Prefecture.
