Artist profile:
Born in China in 2003, I am currently enrolled in the Sculpture Department at Musashino Art University.
I like being alone sometimes, or rather, I find myself absorbed in doing something while wandering aimlessly alone in a crowd of people. By playing the role of a bystander and activating the perceptive powers of each of my organs, I am able to capture many more small changes than usual. By relying on this method of sketching space with my body, I weave together and re-express images gleaned from different aspects of "existence" and "non-existence." I then layer my personal emotions and imagination on top of these, and create works centered around my desire to build my own worldview.
