I started drawing the "Grumpy Cat" series because my pet cat always had a grumpy look on its face.

I create miniature versions of the items that appear in the paintings using paper clay and place them together in the frame to create the world of the artwork. I hope you enjoy the "strangely realistic" look when viewed from a distance with squinted eyes.
