Artist Profile:
I create layers of drawings, as if tracing the forms of things "as they are now."
I repeatedly layer the forms of scenes that weren't there yesterday, and the forms of things around me that gradually change, tracing them until they appear on the canvas today.
This creative process, which depicts the forms of visible environmental changes, allows me to vividly recognize my own raw existence amidst a growing insensitivity to the passage of time and my own transformations.
